When AMLI Development Group awarded National Framing this project in October 2025, the scale was clear from the start: two seven-story multifamily buildings on podium decks, connected by a drive-thru Paseo, in one of the most active construction markets in the country. By most measures, this is the largest stick-frame-on-podium project in Texas.
National Framing was brought in to execute a complex scope at a high level, with no room for lost time or missed coordination.
Project Execution
The exterior and shear walls on this project were prefabricated, and National Framing was responsible for coordinating crane operations and installing every panel. That effort required precise sequencing between crane activity, field crews, panel deliveries, and lumber deliveries so progress stayed on track day after day.
This kind of performance comes from experienced leadership, detailed planning, dependable field execution, and systems built to protect the schedule.
Production Pace
Since framing began, our crews have maintained a production rate of at least 15,000 square feet of installed framing per week. On a project defined by podium decks, prefab wall installation, crane coordination, and zero-clearance lot lines, that pace reflects both discipline and capability.Building One is on track for completion at the end of May 2026, with full project completion targeted for November 2026.
Schedule Challenges
Building Two has experienced delays related to post-tension cables in the slab. While the issue is outside the framing scope, it directly affects sequencing and schedule, so our team will complete Building One, temporarily demobilize for approximately one month, and then return to carry Building Two across the finish line.
That flexibility is part of the work on jobs like this. Execution matters, but so does responding to field conditions without losing momentum.
